Kofi's Squeaky Bike

1Every time Kofi rode his bike, it went squeak, squeak, squeak. His little sister laughed. "Your bike sounds like a mouse!" she said. Kofi did not laugh. He wanted to ride quietly.

2On Saturday, Kofi rolled his bike to Ms. Rivera's shop. She looked at the wheels. She looked at the seat. Then she looked at the chain. "The chain is dry," she said. She put one drop of oil on each link and turned the pedals.

3Kofi rode around the block. No squeak! He rode back to the shop and gave Ms. Rivera a big smile.
