Ambulance Helpers

An ambulance is a truck that helps sick or hurt people. It has a siren. A siren makes a loud sound: wee-oo, wee-oo! Cars move over to let the ambulance pass.

Paramedics ride in the ambulance. A paramedic is a helper who knows how to care for sick and hurt people.

The paramedics use a stretcher. A stretcher is a bed on wheels. They roll a sick person on the stretcher into the ambulance. They drive to the hospital.
